At any given stage in it's ageing /depreciation, roughly what percentage premium would you be inclined to pay for a Tekna over an Acenta in the used market (all other things being equal)?

The difference new is £2k(about 10% more) so s/h I'd say it would still be about 10% more.

The Bose speaker/subwoofer/whatever in the boot would wreck my head in the Tekna, any way to remove it without making a balls of the audio system?

The leather should be optional. I like it and it's easier to clean, but I also like the cloth in the acenta.

It really isn't a problem at all. It's well protected and doesn't get in the way.

The sub can be removed easily if so desired. But I'm with goz83, it doesn't really take much space and when you fold the rear seats it kind of bridges the step from boot floor to the seats. The casing of seem very sturdy so you can place stuff on it no problem. And unlike what Mad_lad says it does add noticeable oomph to the audio (wish the middle range was cleaner on the system).

A lot of people buying a leaf will be environmentally conscious and i guess might be not too happy about sitting on dead cow skin.

All depends I guess. At the moment - its my favourite feature. The cloth is lovely to the touch but keeping it clean - now thats a challenge. Great comfort with the leather - and just this week started working with the heated seats option - could well be as equally important to me. After that - im not sure Im bothered about any of the other SVE or Tekna features.

Ordered a model 3 with the on leather interior. Id buy a model s from the UK but am struggling to get one with the non leather interior. Im not bothered but the missus is a veggie. Saying that i did some research on the tanning process for leather and its not very nice. Im not veggie by the way. I8 being considered at the moment but struggling to get any examples that are not full leather either

One guy from Holland posted on one of the EV Owners group FB pages some months back with a request for feedback on reasons for people going the EV route. The finding was that the vast majority were motivated primarily by cost savings - with environmental concerns being relevant but secondary.

If you're talking in terms of the I8 or Tesla S - you're in a different consumer bracket than the masses.

All model 3 interiors and the white interiors on the X and S are synthetic leather. On the S & X the steering wheel is still real leather but a vegan alternative can be special ordered.

Lots of good reports about the synthetic leather Tesla is using, feels great, hard wearing and easy to keep clean. Most (non-vegans) have been stating they actually prefer the new synthetic leather to the real leather.
