    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has rented a campervan/motorhome recently that will allow you collect in Dublin and travel to and around Europe?

Ive checked a crowd spaceshiprentals i think but they are more car versions....

That makes no sense, surely it would be far cheaper to fly to somewhere in France and rent a motorhome? If you rent one here and take it on the ferry during high season, it will cost a fortune and you lose a day at each end of the holiday because of the ferry trip. And you'll end up driving a large right-hand drive vehicle on the 'wrong' side of the road.

It makes perfect sense I've never done it before and without giving all the details in my original post I was looking for suggestions because after googling from the sites I have been on they wont allow you out of the specific country you hire in and you have to leave the camper back to specific depot hence why I mentioned Europe wide...
I never said how many are going, when we were going or what sporting equipment I was bringing with the group.
The cost incurred flying the equipment far outweighs the cost of bringing it thats why starting at Dublin is the desired location.
Time on the ferry isnt a factor as I am looking a separate driver to our group who wont be doing the sporting aspect of the trip.
The side the driver is on ins't really a problem...
Ill take what you said on board but starting a sentence with "that makes no sense" reads confrontational to be honest.
Thanks anyway I am looking for someone who possibly organised a trip for a group and equipment who has stopped in several European countries all in the same trip.

Why not buy one and sell it after the trip

Yeah its an option on the table as well but given our budget you would have a lot of maintenance issues for the year camper involved they surprisingly hold value at the lower end of the market.
Trip is next year so plenty of time to organise...I hope:eek:
