Why do some shares on the ISE show no price movement for very long periods of time? Can we not buy/sell these shares?

    Thanks!

some shares don't trade on the market for difference reasons.

For example the last trade for the tesco shares was 6th April 2001.

other companies that are ESM listed dont have the interest or market size to warrent active trading.
Take Great western mining their may only be one trade a week. and with those trades you can see great movement. today is an example share price has dropped 40% so someone offloaded shares i'd say. pricewise it moved from 2 cent a share to 1.2 cent a share

Its something to do with listing on a number of exchanges but only trading on one. In tescos case they are also listed in London and those shares are actively traded.
