Kildare to Dunquin

Hello!

Heading from Kildare to Dunquin tomorrow and I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for somewhere to stop along the way? Trip takes about 3hrs 50 mins so just somewhere to stop for tea/coffee/snack along the road. Doesn't have to be fancy, a service station would do fine!

Also if anybody has been to Dunquin and has recommendations for nice restaurants in the surrounding area that would be much appreciated! :rolleyes:

Maxol have a big service station in Dooradoyle with cafe and hot & cold deli

Adare is en-route if you want something a little fancier

If you could make it to Annascaul on your journey the South Pole Inn is a good place to stop for food.
Try and go early because Adare is very slow going southbound on Fridays.

I'd go the coastal route from limerick to tarbert - Listowel - Tralee . Its a better road.
