Neighbour got a phone call from a man he bought a suck calve from, he said he was after having a confirmed tb positive on a cow he killed in the factory. Where does that leave my neighbour, he hasn't heard anything from the department yet but is stressing a little thanks

He may be asked to test the calf on its own. I'm not sure whether he's restricted until this is done or not. A calf is unlikely to be a problem. He could ring the DVO and find out rather than fuss unnecessarily.
