Wisdom tooth question

I was at the dentist recently about a problem I've been having with one of my wisdom teeth. He gave me antibiotics for it. But I forgot to ask him a question and I'm hoping someone can help me with it. I seem to have a build up of pus under the gum between the wisdom tooth and the molar, there a lump on the gum full of pus…

I was at the dentist recently about a problem I've been having with one of my wisdom teeth. He gave me antibiotics for it. But I forgot to ask him a question and I'm hoping someone can help me with it.

I seem to have a build up of pus under the gum between the wisdom tooth and the molar, there a lump on the gum full of pus and when I touch it, it all pours out of a small hole above the wisdom tooth.

Should I be pushing the pus out or should I leave it?
