Moved to accommodation & property, more likely to get an answer here. (or else "state benefits")

Is it an exceptional needs payment you are talking about.?If you are moving out of private rented furnished flat you will need beds for you and the children, table and chairs, a cooker and washing machine. The likes of Bargintown should be able to give you quotes. Local V de P branches sometimes have decent donated furniture and for people to in need

You get 3 quotes for a cooker, washing machine and possibly beds you then get cheques for the cheapest ,
After that it's up to you to furnish the place for the most part

Put a fiver deposit on each essential item and bring that to the cwo and ask for the rest. You'll have to go with the cheapest item in there.

Good luck with your new place.

Also check sites like jumbletown. There are often beds, tables, chairs etc. being given away for free.

It honestly varies from CWO to CWO. Some get grants for most things, some only do grants for a few bits. Good luck and congrats on the house.

You'll get a grant for flooring, beds, white goods (washing machine, fridge and cooker), go to Bargaintown, Des Kelly, Mattress Mick, Currys, DID, Power City. Get quotes for each thing, bring them back and the CWO will write cheques for the place with the cheapest stuff.
