First time farmer

I am planning to set up as a first time farmer.
I am currently doing the distance green cert and won't be finished that until early 2019.
The plan is to put between 10-15 sucklers and a few dry heifers (10-15) onto approx 50 acres.
I also plan to apply for the Glas scheme.
I'm sure plenty of people here have experince of this and I know there are other similar threads but what exactly would I be entitled to apply for if i was to start farming in the next few weeks, assuming the land and above livestock are in place.
I am also working full time off farm.

    Thanks in advance.

Is the land owned or rented? Do you have handling facilities and sheds? Machinery as well?

Glas is closed and to be honest I wouldn't recommend it anyway. Farcical scheme. If the beef data genomics scheme reopened I would suggest that as you're in sucklers but again applications are closed for the newest phase. If you're finishing cattle you get a bonus for being part of Quality Assurance. Regardless I think it's good practice to be in it.

2 bay slats for 30 animals won't work over the winter. Depending on size of bays you'd do well to fit the 15 cows in calf comfortably. Out wintering is not exactly a great option either although that depends on location and how dry your land is over the winter I suppose. I'd be recommending a shed anyway. Especially if you're working full time. It'll make life much easier for you.

I use a Teagasc advisor. There is an annual fee but I can't remember what it was around 200 I think. People have differing opinions of the advisor but I find them very helpful. As a young farmer myself they've helped out with grants, payments, schemes and general advice. I'm also working full time and the easier you can make farming, the better.

Sheet down the hay shed and bed the rest of them in there, at night. Probably not a long term solution but will get you by.

Accomodation or the actual farm work won't be an issue, it is the payout side of it I need help with. I know there is no fortune to be got or money for nothing but anything I can avail of would help.
It looks like talking to a planner/adviser is my best bet.

I presume u did not get entailments with the land . Once you have your green cert you can apply to the national resurve for some
