    Hi!

I need to kit myself out for some work, on a budget. I can find dewalt combo kits fairly cheap in the states, but by the time the import charge and delivery rack up, the savings are nearly negated.

Any recommendations for Irish sellers selling them(or other decent brand) cheap?

    Good tools don't come cheap
Try UK sites on line thats where I get most of my dewalt, festool stuff

What tools are you looking for. Some of 6 piece kits offer great value if you need all the parts
Try ffx in the UK or ets

The OP mentioned Dewalt. FFX will not come close (pricewise) to the kit I linked above.

I'm toying with the idea of just buying the bodies separate as I already have the 1st and 2nd fix nailer 5amp kit
I already have the drills and grinder body so just need a cordless jigsaw ,saber saw, and maybe multi saw body to complete the kit I need for the work I do.
I reckon this way your getting the tools you'll use daily in a kit just need a decent size box or two for them.

Bonzo, check out fredis on adverts. He's in swords. Does all dewalt stuff, from bare units up to full kits. Boxes as well.

Dewalt is overrated. They did what every other manufacturer did in recent years and farmed production off to China, where they value engineered the heck out of it. Kept the plastic exterior looking mostly the same and sold the product back home for the same price. You're really buying a slightly better Parkside but in yellow

Comparing dewalt XRP brushless and parkside is just showing your ignorance and lack of knowledge on power-tools in general.

That old Ronan Keating song comes to mind: "you say it best......"
