    I don't know of anyone who would cover you for this.
    Which company in the UK says they cover it.
    Have you contacted them?

    The company in the UK; check if they have an Irish section who may cover it.

    Are you looking to have the operation covered, or the before and after?

    Thanks , I'll check that this morning, didn't think of that.
    Just the before and after parts of the trip, the procedure itself is covered by the hospital , but not the normal travel , loss of bags etc

    OP, have you considered having that procedure in the UK? If there are any medical complications during the procedure and you end up in a general hospital, you will have no medical insurance and you will be in serious financial jeopardy.

    The place where you're going to have the procedure - how did you hear about them?
