    Hi guys,

I'm looking for some advice about a custom-built desktop for college use & general family use.

    1. What is your budget? €800 for desktop (min 8gb RAM 258ssd drive)

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? College work starting with simple AutoCAD 2/D rendering 4-5 hrs a week Year 1, AutoCad & Revit in year 2 + MS Office . Simple photography editing using photoshop elements, Light pc use with 2 other family members. No Gaming or video work.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes & Office

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? no

    5. Do you need a monitor? Yes,
5a. If yes, what size do you need? I currently have an AOC 20" monitor it seems ok, what size & specs would you recommend using AutoCAD?

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? looking for Cd/DVD RW (maybe a media card reader, my dad uses the 4-way media card reader for SD mini + CF Disc in our dell desktop & * exclude from budget)

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? NO

    8. How can you pay? Anyway

    9. When are you purchasing? [7-10days]

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Yes, I'd need help, Dublin Northside D15

    Any suggestions, greatly appreciated. Thanks.
