Mortgage Over-payment Question

Folks, can anyone advise me on regular mortgage over-payments?If I set up a regular mortgage over-payment (monthly) can I revert to the previous mortgage rate I originally signed up for or will I be stuck on the over-payment + original amount for the duration of the mortgage term. Obviously I would like the option to revert to the original rate if there were unforeseen changes to my current financial position.

    Thanks in advance.

I'd imagine you could do that but your lender will confirm.

Returning to origional payments should be just a phone call and possible follow up written request away.
