Lads - looking for a real cheap lambing shelter to lamb two batches of 35 ewes.

I was thinking about this over the weekend and essentially all is really needed for lambing is:

    1) Shelter for the shepherd
    2) Easy access to the ewes for assistance
    3) Protection from predators

The ewes don't really care how fancy the setup is!

I wont spend more than 1K so thinking about either a polytunnel or even a marquee?! Here's one for €586 - http://www.adverts.ie/gazebos/marquee-12m-x-6m-t160g-s140g/13260163 - Am I mad?!

If you could strengthen it I don't see why not,if it were me I'd run sheeting or hurdles around the inside perimeter also

Yep, hurdles on the inside and tie it down well outside, should be OK. Main problem would be wind I think but the place I have for it is in a bit of a hollow and well sheltered.
