Sixt car insurance

    I rang Sixt about it today as I just booked insurance with them for France next month. The lad on the phone hadn't a clue, said all cars are covered with 1500 Euro excess.

    I haven't receive my policy docs yet so can't check. Assume my carhireexcess policy would be worthless in case of damage to the rental car (would only cover third party) if this Guardian article is accurate?
