I can't find a list of what a 16 yr old needs to bring with him - no point in going to bank, queueing and being sent home again for documentation.

Unlikely that he has an official letter with his address on it from the last six months.

    Hi tuisgindeach,

Thanks for getting in touch. If you're a Parent of Guardian of the 16 year old, and hold a Bank of Ireland current account yourself, you can open a Second level Account through your Banking 365 profile. He'll need photo id, a passport or drivers licence if he has one, and proof of address for his parent/guardian. If you're not opening the account through 365 Online, he can make an appointment with the branch here.

    Thanks
    Tara
