noticed a few parts of the farm which are a bit bare of grass that I want to do something about.for example where cows sheltered when we had lots of rain back in the start of june and other various gaps etc.

What is the best way to get a bit of grass back into these parts with minimal effort?

Would broadcasting grass seed with the spinner and then rolling work? I dont have a chain harrow in case anyone suggests that
