I have received planning permission for a two storey side extension to my house was keeping a side entrance of 850
But now I would like to lose the the side entrance and move the side of the extension over to boundary wall
It has been done a lot around the area

So I know I would have to resubmit plans to Dublin council
But anyone know how long it would take
    Thank appreciate any good advice

Standard planning application for an alteration to previously approved permission.

    New drawings.
    New notices.
    8 weeks for decision.
Another 4 weeks for final grant.

it could take that long... kceire has outlined in the quickest timeline.

after 8 weeks the council could request "further information" to be supplied.
if this happens, then your timeline could very well extend to the 5 - 6 months suggested.

    +1

Also, I haven't allowed for the time for the agent to prepare the drawings, arrange for the application etc
