Can employer enforce repayment of training expenses?

I completed a course through my job (HSE) where I signed an agreement that I may have to repay training costs if I leave within two years. Can the employer legally enforce this if I resign before the 24 months have lapsed?
Other terms of the agreement included a defined work location which was changed by the employer after a few months. Thank you in advance.

Yes, esp if (in the agreement you signed) you gave permission for them to deduct it from your final salary.

Can they pick and choose which part of it they impose though? My work location was changed despite being clearly defined in the agreement.
The agreement did not state that it could be deducted from final salary. Just that I may be liable for training expenses before 2 years service.

Is the work location part of the contract you signed agreeing to repay the training expenses...?

They can't unilaterally change the terms of the contract without the permission of both parties.
If you agreed to a training bond which meant you working at location A but then found yourself being transferred to location B without your agreement then the contract can be voided.
