The cover is stuck It was so flimsy the grip snapped when I tried to twist it out

    Model is 1200 classix express
    washing machine

Would I need to get it from inside now?

if the filter wouldn't pull out it is full of debris, coins hairgrips etc which shouldn't be in there, you will have to remove the pump from the machine and quite often even have to take the pump apart to remove the obstruction

Got it sorted from the inside

Apparently it's a known issue with these

it will happen to any washing machine when pockets are not emptied before starting the wash

Ya but the cover is badly
designed that it's flimsy and wont twist off

Apparently some of the better machines have a cap separate to filter body
