    There is a word for an organisational belief that customers and users can only exist on the context of how the organisation itself defines them. Essentially it describes a fallacy, the belief that the only people that exist fit inside a clearly defined little box.

    Any ideas what it is?

    I've been unsuccessful with Google so far.

    Hmm, interesting question. I think I remember that concept being described in business strategy in college.

    I'll see if I can dig out notes later.
