Radiation Therapy or Radiology as a Mature Student

Hi All Looking to find anyone who has done either of these 2 courses as a mature student and how you found them. I am starting a pre- university Science course this year in the hope of doing one of these 2 next year. I am looming for advice on how i can make my application better. Can i get experience in these departments…

Hi All

Looking to find anyone who has done either of these 2 courses as a mature student and how you found them. I am starting a pre- university Science course this year in the hope of doing one of these 2 next year.

I am looming for advice on how i can make my application better. Can i get experience in these departments in hospitals or do they only take in students that are in the courses?? How do i go about it??
I know UCD does Radiography and Trinity does Radiation therapy but are there any others in Ireland??
Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated
