Looks great and a great price for a rex, especially with exchange rates as they are.
The only thing is, it might not have the DC fast charge, as this was still optional back then afaik.
I'm seeing about 1230 on VRT , but that's using the 43K miles in the ad.

It really is a great car, as you know from the test drive.
And to think you weren't keen on a rex at first :P

Well, Rex is a great idea for the 24 Kwh and the way Nissan should have gone back in 2010. Whether I'd have it with the 33 Kwh I don't know. I drove 408 Kms in one day in the 33 Kwh on battery only.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Rex is going to cost you more to buy in the UK and then there's the VRT. And it's an older car. I'm not au fait with the price of a second hand i3, but would you not be better off with a 33kWh one?

Met a nice man at the Lucan FCP a few days ago and his 141D i3 did not have DC charging, just the Type 2 port  He claimed his was the first in the country. Also passed another Ioniq BEV just yards from my home in Lucan today. Don't see many of them still.

That car doesn't have DC Fast Charge.

It's actually very rare in 2014 I3s in the UK. Especially with a rex. It would me ages to find one.

    40km per hour

I3 charges at 7 Kw so about 6.5 ish Kwh per hour into the battery.

The 2016 with 33 Ah battery has an optional 3 phase 11 Kw charger.

Or you have DC which wasn't available as standard.

Jaysus, that's poor considering the price of the car day one.

Even the lowly Nissans and Hyundais have DC charging as standard.

    Is it CCS they use?

It should have CCS, but there was close to zero CCS chargers in the UK when this car was new.

Yes , any DC enabled I3 is CCS, the leaf did not have DC charging as standard.

There's was a time when the leaf didn't come with fast charging as standard.

But what was the price point?

I was saying that for the price of the i3, it was poor form not to include DC charging.

I3 charges at 7 Kw so about 6.5 ish Kwh per hour into the battery.

I believe there are some out there without the 7kw "ac rapid charge". From what I read that was also an option in the early days.

Never came across one when I was shopping, but I was only looking at better specs levels.
