Water or Gas valve help

I have a red handled valve in a press in the kitchen Is this a water valve like an indoor stopcock or is it the gas valve - looks like VIP and made in Italy and on off are displayed but no more

It should be water. Yellow is for gas. Turn off the valve and see if any taps stop working. That way you'll know what it controls
