Just seen amazingly cheap prices on this site, just use the link to get the dates and airlines, then follow thru to official airline website to book.

Bagged myself Shannon to Vancouver for €280 return in October, Aer Lingus to Heathrow and then Air Canada non-stop to Vancouver included a checked bag, seems to be loads of dates available so might be of use to someone out there and definetly a bargain!!!

I just got the dates off the link and then used the Air Canada site to book from Shannon

Just out of interest I tried Toronto for couple of dates in October. 330 return. Outbound via Frankfurt and inbound via Heathrow.

Think the Vancouver flights are via Heathrow too.

I recommend using secretflying just to get the dates and airlines of what flight suits you then going to the actual airlines webpage to book.

That's what I did anyway and went to the Air Canada website and prices were the same as the dates off secretflying. Some of the booking agents on secretflying have terrible reviews so much safer to use the actual airline itself to book

Which dates did you use to get air Canada flights? A lot of the dates seem to be AA on the LHR-YVR route

Remember to sign up to OneWorld or whatever Air Canada use... I've flown many thousands of miles over the years and only signed up this year for the Etihad scheme for my flight to Malaysia / Indonesia.

Received points back for the flights but also a few extra because there was a slight flight delay. €75 worth of airmiles which I can use to buy €75 worth of vouchers or other stuff.

I'm dreading to think how much I could have earned over 15 years of flying to far-flung destinations

Seems perfectly legit. Received booking confirmation immediately including a booking reference code that worked on British Airways website and lists all my DUB>LHR>YVR flights and back.

I received my booking reference for my British airway flights to Vancouver, I cannot get into the British airways site.....any ideas ?????

Just to update.... ETRAVEL sent out the wrong booking code. I got onto British Airways and the gave me the right one....ALL GOOD:):):)

Once you login you'll have the option to prebook your seat for a fee. Check in will give you a very limited selection to choose from online.

Your best bet is when you get into T2 IN LHR, transfer to T5 to a BA Ticketing Desk, and they'll be able to give you the best option if you don't want to pay a fee.

We travelled in a group of 4 who all booked separately, and while EI in Shannon did their best to sort us out, BA have naturally way more access.

To everyone panicking, these normally work out.
You will spend the next 10 months checking if the flights are still there.
It will eventually happen.

Its possible. I think BA online check in is 30 hours prior to flight so the earlier you check in after window opens the better chances you have. You could ask them nicely at Irish airport when you check your bags in if you arent seated close enough.

Cork to Vancouver next May is showing as 270 euro return .
When I go onto the BA site and check the same flights I get a fare of 505 euro and taxes of 264 euro.
So the Fare is 6 euro on eflights !

Anyone any experience of booking through some of these sites? I plugged some dates into skyscanner and got links to really really good fares but they are from the likes of tripair.com or budgetair.ie ?? Same flights on BA website are about double the price. Is it all too good to be true or just down to the highly restrictive nature of the tickets?

I booked with BA and got the reduced price, as suggested before the bulk was taxes and charges, out of a payment of €860 the fare element was €87

Booked one of these with edreams on Monday. Flights were almost double on the carrier (KLM) site. I went for them anyway with edream at 380e return. Since then I have checked with KLM and all looks good - I definitely dont see any reason for concern at the moment.

Yes but for me the final price on tripair is €280 yet on the BA site it's €485

FYI - Brother just flew Air Canada Rouge this week - Vancouver to Dublin. Legroom tight, brother approx 6ft.

And you also don't get a TV on the plane. You have to download their app and connect to the airplane wifi to access any movies/tv on the way. Awkward but its still free.
