New routes please

Howdy,

I always cycle around Blessington, Sally Gap, Laragh, Roundwood and now I think it's time for a change, only thing is, I don't know any other good routes.

So, if you'd like to suggest a few, please do! I'm based in Terenure and will probably do about 120k tomorrow. Throw in a coffee break also

Out to Dun Laoghaire, follow the coast to Wicklow town and back? Interesting roads, couple of nice hills but not to the level of Sally Gap etc.... Coffee stop in Greystones on the way out or the way back (but please not the Happy Pear).

Go out by Clontarf,turn left at Sutton cross roads and head out the R132 towards Balbriggan, take a left turn towards Naul where you can have a coffee stop and then come back along one of my favourite roads, Ballyboughal towards the back of the airport.
Then you could do a few laps of the airport which is always nice.

What Eponymous said but cut inland to Rathdrum from Rathnew, onto Ballinaclash and over to Aughrim.

From Aughrim you've routes that will take you back over Slieve Mann, the Shay and back to Laragh. Empty roads, lovely scenery and great climbs. God's Own Country (Up Wickla!)

So I pretty much followed that route up to Balbriggan and back towards the airport. Stopped for coffee in Rush. Very enjoyable....Skerries looked class. I'll be back there soon for a platter of seafood and bottle of white. All my hilly spins made that flat route feel easy
