Hi guys need some help,,, I have my TV through Sky and my broadband through Vodafone.
I want to combine together, was going with sky but man told me I need an active phone line before they can do it.
I rent the house, not sure if phone line is active?
Who do I have to go to to get the line activated? Éir? and if I do does that mean I will be in a contract with Éir? for maybe 2 yrs?
How do I get round this problem, I just want to go with Sky for everything.
Also how do I check if line is active?
    Frustrating!!

When you say your broadband is through Vodafone, you're using mobile broadband?

I got sky broadband where there was no active line. Didn't have to go near Eir. It took a few weeks.

You have a phone line but no active phone number, I can't believe sky are still insisting on this, you sure?
