Hello! Hoping someone can answer this for me. I was claiming fis but I got offered a new job (more money & more hours) which I accepted and cancelled my fis as I didn't qualify any more. That was grand but in the mean time my current job offered me more hours and higher pay which would work out better for me so I decided to stay on with current employer. I got a letter from fis this week asking me for my p45, which I obviously don't have now as I stayed in same job. My question is why they are looking for my p45? I don't want to reopen my fis claim as I will be earning enough now, just don't get why they are still looking for info if I'm not claiming fis and haven't been for a month. Any info you can give me on this would be much appreciated 😠TIA

AFAIK you would still have been eligible for FIS until the end of the 52 weeks even if your earnings increased. Call them and explain the situation. They probably just need it to cover their own backs and for their own records.
