Can anyone recommend a place to get prints done from digital files. Just decent consumer quality/price, nothing specialist. About 50-100 prints, say 6x4.
Ideally a walk-in place in the Dublin area, but could consider online.

    Thanks. F.

Harvey Norman generally have printing facilities in their stores. I used to get prints regularly in Nutgrove from there. Good quality and cheap enough.

Or Fuji - they're good quality for the price.. there's one in Dundrum top level and one in Stillorgan SC too.

Where in Ireland is best to get good quality prints done? I've printed small before but never properly just using snapfish. They would be for display purposes and possible re-sale.

I'd like to suggest the company I work for: Pixcam. We're located in Donegal and print for local photographers, a select few national photographers we were lucky to discover and lot's of local enthusiasts here in Buncrana. We're 5 years in business this November and run a Fujifilm Frontier 5700 lab and Epson Large format Giclprinters. The exact same setup as Loxley, DSCL, Photobox, Snapfish, Harvey Norman and the vast majority of other labs out there. What I think is different is that we have researched and implemented how we can get the best from our equipment, not just the default settings!

I guarantee we can beat the big guys on price as we are a local Irish company and have far less overheads. More importantly, the quality is there. When I requested the manuals for our lab I was told we were the only company in the past 8 years to do so. I was surprised but also happy to push for the best quality. I wanted my pictures to be displayed the way they should be.

Our staff are made up of both professional and amateur enthusiast photographers. Drop us an email at pixcamireland@gmail.com and we would be glad to print you some samples, free of charge and post them to you. Yep, it's all a shameless plug but I love my photography and am delighted with the setup I've achieved.

Give us a shout sure! Apologies if this is against boards rules.

    Kindest regards

    Adam Porter :):):)
