Is it for a Council position?

There was an open competition advertised for C/O positions with City & County Councils earlier this year, but nothing happening with them yet as far as I know.

Next permanent co in civil service campaign will be next year. It's every 2 years. Set up an alert on public jobs. If the interview is for TCO in civil service then it's very informal nothing to stress about

The last few perm competions were every 2 years 2014, 2016. So it's expected there may be one in 2018 but nothing confirmed until it's announced. Sign up to publicjobs.ie to get notification. Would assume going on the last 2 campaigns that may be announced early this year possibly around March/April.

Sorry to Thread-crash, is there any extensive intensive exhaustive/non-exhaustive?!? full complete List of, say, ALL the Offices by County or Region or Province or each individual County in Ireland or something like that?? Is there medical Offices feiced into the mix here too or what exactly is taken into consideration for all the different Offices that might be hiring? Why don't they just keep ALL Medical jobs separate through HSE or whatever crowd is running it now...
