Ah well, first and reverse getting hard to engage.Rest of gears can get but a little clunky.Looking like a new clutch or plate I would say.No slipping or burning smell from clutch and pedal is good and strong so I'm puzzeled a bit.Nursing it into gear at this stage.Going to look at slave cylinder later, any other ideas doblo owners????

While the clutch operation is hydraulic, there are cables for gear change operation, as in between the gear lever and 'box. Sometimes these may stretch and make changing difficult.
If you have a good pedal, and there are no obvious leaks from the cylinders, and the clutch is not slipping, it could be gear cables.
Reverse gear is driven from the sliding hub between first and second gear. As reverse has no synchro, sometimes damage can be done by crashing into reverse while still moving slightly forward. If 1st/2nd sliding hub is damaged it can have a knock on effect to engaging these gears.

Finally had to get clutch done today. Was driving with it slipping for the last two weeks.Couldn't get any gear after it been in fifth and no first from take off.Had to shut of engine to get it in first, was a nightmare in traffic.Fingers crossed all will go ok.
