Fossil watch

Secondary watch I'm looking to buy, looks nice but don't know if buying a fashion brand watch is a good idea or not. Would you wear a Fossil like this one? Are they a proper watch or just a disposable yoke? I like the design of it and it has a stainless steel case which is a one up from a chrome base metal Sekonda I was also looking at.

Surely somebody can suggest a Seiko that looks almost identical? Anything here take your fancy?

I've heard they're decently quality, in general.

They make many other fashion watch brands like Michael Khors and Armani. It is ok for that money. I wouldn't be embarrassed by wearing it. I doubt youll get an equivalent seiko for that money.

I have that watch, I'd avoid it like the plague to be honest, it's thrown in a drawer somewhere now. Not only was it extremely uncomfortable to wear but the face was extremely fragile and broke with a small drop (talking a couple of feet onto a wood floor), I replaced the glass with a thinner version and used to give it to the kids to play with.

Gonna head up in the morning to take a look at this Seiko instead of getting the Fossil. I knew the Fossil was kinda nor here nor there but thought I'd ask anyways.

I bought a variation of that watch 2 yrs ago.

It's fine but it does wear big. The strap is quite comfortable.

The Seiko looks ok, but legibility might be an issue.

Is this too much over budget?
