Was a previous eir customer in Clondalkin, so moved my account over to new home, on basis that they said broadband was available (next gen broadband only).
After them coming out to install the phone line and line testing I finally got an 'answer' from them today that broadband was not available over the line into the house. It took over 2 weeks and numerous calls and being bounced around to get someone to give a definitive answer.
So I've cancelled the contract with them on the basis they couldnt provide the service I signed up to.
So wondering if anyone living in or near this area has broadband (fixed line or otherwise) and if so who is the provider?
Im not obsessed with getting it but it would be nice to have something. Basic is fine for my needs.
    Thanks.

Wicklow Broadband fixed wireless is your best option for now, you should have fibre to the home from eir next year.

Last two options are Imagine and then cellular (3/Vodafone/Meteor).

No joy with imagine, I've contacted ripplecom and will see how that goes.
Otherwise its a dongle for at least the first year living here.
If we stay on hopefully eir get their act together and fibre broadband is available next year.
    Thanks for the help all.
