    Hey folks
I have found dark damp mould marks on the bottom of my bedroom wall behind a cabinet, I have found the cause which was the shower on the other side of the wall and have fix the issue, but my question is how do I go about getting rid of the marks, there about a half foot long and about 5 inch in height ,
Would I be right in saying if i clean it with a hot cloth and repaint it with anti mould paint ?
Just wondering if i got some silica gel would it take some of the dampness out of the wall ? and if so where in Ireland can you buy it

    Thanks

You can buy a fungicidal spray in a DIY or paint shop which you spray onto the wall and then wipe off. It kills the mould. It costs less than €10.

I'd run a dehumidifier for a nice length of time first before "sealing" anything in by repainting.
