Xiaomi Mi Max 2, considering upgrade. Will it work with 3 Ireland 4g?

I'm currently using a One Plus 2. It has served me well, but the screen in cracked and I'm thinking of upgrading. My upgrade options are limited as I want another dual sim phone.

The phone I have my eye on is the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. I'm not sure if it's much of an upgrade storage wise, but the main thing that attracts me is the huge battery capacity.

My network in Ireland is 3. Does anyone know if there would be any compatibility issues with this phone's LTE connectivity? I have pasted the devices specs below. I'm not sure which bands are required, or supported. Also, would the phone be much different to my OP2 in terms of performance?

3 appears to use 800MHZ and 1800MHZ, but the device is only compatible with 1800MHZ.

This. In certain areas your coverage will be limited.

In rural areas 1800Mhz is dropped in favour of 800Mhz for range. You will fall back to 3G in these areas.
