Hi, looking to register Lithuanian citizen account with online broker...Many available but do not want to accept Lithuanian citizens..Any suggestions? Only looking for simple stock and would be comfortable with about 1,000 USD of deposit.

    Many thanks in advance.

Do you have an Irish PPS number, and are you resident in Ireland?

Yes, I am and have a PPS number, but this is for a Lithuanian citizen that is not in Ireland and does not have a PPS number.

That probably won't work. Why not register with a Lithuanian broker instead?

For taxation and money laundering legislation they will not want to deal with non Irish residents. Should be plenty of providers in the Lithuanian market offering the same access to stocks. On the plus side I see CGT is only 15% in Lithuania.

It's not about where to register...Its about finding the broker, been looking at sites like top broker and although some would say they accept applications from European citizens, wont actually open an account for a Lithuanian citizen..Taxation is a diff matter.

Lithuania does not have anything similar to Forex and thats what I am looking for...a trading platform where an account could be created and accepted for a Lithuanian citizen...Any ideas???? Much appreciated.

Very unclear what you want to do. Forex - you can register with almost any broker without any issues.
Most likely it's equity trading as places like TDA or even DeGiro won't accept Lithuanians directly. Unless you prepared to open account in your own name and let your friend do the trading.
