Hepatitis B Vaccination

    Hi everyone,

I know this question is a bit vague, but I was wondering if anyone knows the policy of Hep B Vaccinations in Ireland. I'm filling out an occupational health form and don't know if I have been vaccinated against Hep B.

I know all babies now are vaccinated against Hep B, but when was this introduced? I was born in the mid 90s, would babies have been vaccinated against Hep B then? If not, did anyone receive the vaccination in secondary school or did you have to go to your GP?

Again, I know its a slightly dumb question. I have contacted my local health office for vaccination records but they are out on holiday and the form must be submitted soon. Thanks very much!
