    Hi all.

Absolutely no experience with car sales , looking to value my current car and need some advice.

    2007 nissan micra
    1.2l
    5 door , grey
    bluetooth, air con , upholstery
    NCT valid
    6000 km on clock
    2 brand new front tyres

From my research this car ranges from around 3-4k but with the mileage being so good on this car ( only used to go to local shops) I am unsure of what to ask. I don't know how to tell the car's worth?

    Thanks

Question, for a car with only 6k kms, why would it need two new front tyres?

    Got two punctures.
The garage said the tyres were not fixable and needed to be replaced.
    This was very recently.

If it is the mileage that is the concern for the buyer , then I would have full service record etc..

Donedeal prices range from 2k to 5k for 2007 cars. 5k are dreamers though.
Yours is exceptionally low mileage and it's an in demand car so good news is you will sell it no problem.
There is a 12k low mileage one on for 3.5k so maybe pitch in above that somewhere. 4k would be good starting point see how you get on.

Car will likely need 4 new tyres if it's on the originals as the rubber will be outside its safe lifespan. Any service history with it, no oil change in 10 years would go against it.

Tyres are made of rubber which perishes with age not just use.

Id say the mileage is not important at the moment. It is not a supercar or classic. The low mileage could actually be an issue as most cars need to be driven. 3k?

Surely they'd all age the same?

Another fantastic reply from the Boards.ie bot.
Clearly stated twice that there's two new tyres.

    And there's a service history....
