    Is there a particular place where we can showcase our CSS and HTML5 work for people to critique.

    With the cost of shared web hosting being so low, you're better off paying the €30 a year for it to be taken seriously. The free hosting is slow and will probably have ads which will do your work no favours

    I don't think the OP means a portfolio, I think he means sites where designers review and give feedback on each others work. Like a social network geared toward designers.

    I'd use codepen too. I've also seen people use gitpages.
