Where is best to try find accommodation be it self catering cottage or mobile home for a family of 2 adults 3 kids (10-14) for 3 nights the Fri, sat & Sunday of the August Bank Holiday weekend....somewhere on the coast from Mayo to Wexford and in between....Realise its a short let and peak season but if there was something not a mad price be interested....

Clare is always great during August with many family friendly festivals on.

There in one where I am from that takes place on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday of the August Bank Holiday Weekend -it is great fun - https://www.facebook.com/KilmihilFOF/?fref=ts (old facebook page here - https://www.facebook.com/Kilmihil-Festival-of-Fun-112543055496949/?fref=ts)

Highlights include Pig Racing, Fireworks, Vintage Parade, Novelty Parade, Street entertainment, field day with bouncing castles etc. Different events every day.

Also plenty of beaches within 20 mins drive & a number of hotels, cottages, B&Bs, AirBnBs etc.

Try Trident Holiday Homes. I have used them for Bank Holiday weekends even in peak times. They seem to be in a good range of counties.
