Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,

I'm planning on creating a wooden deck in my back garden and im looking to buy "Deck Peirrs" for the base.

Does anyone know if anywhere in Ireland sells these types of deck pier blocks: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2012/3/prweb9333351.htm

**Apologies if this is the incorrect forum. Could a Mod possibly move this into the DIY section**

I could be wrong. But I'm nearly certain they're in B&Q.

Thanks, I saw they stocked them a few years back but I am unable to find any "Deck block" "Handi Block" Or "Deck Piers" for sale anywhere in Ireland.

I contacted B&Q and they no longer sell them saddly

I used these when I built my deck a couple of years back. Wish I hadn't as some of them are starting to rust. I could never find a supplier for those concrete piers.

Weighing in at only less than 2 lbs, shipping a pallet might be an option, if

you can afford possible waiting time.

    Hi Kadman,

I had seen these in my search for alternatives but unfortunately, they are €13 each plus shipping. I was hoping to find cheaper.

I called a UK company that do the concrete blocks, and they are happy to ship to Ireland, I just have to pay the cost of the pallet shipment which is about €100, so currently just working out costs. :)

    cheers for the help.

I need about 18 of the deck blocks, but they advised that more can fit on the pallet, I'm just covering the cost of pallet shipment from the UK and how ever many of the concrete blocks I need.

    Hi Flanders536,

I appreciate that is was 14 years ago, and we've had Brexit since then, but could I ask which supplier was prepared to send a pallet of decking blocks to Ireland? (Were they the sort of thing supplied by Wrekin Products? And were they as good as they seem?)

    Thanks and regards
