I recently picked up an Omega Constellation with a 1310 quartz movement that's not working. Would like to get it running again.

Has anyone ever had any luck having older quartz movements repaired in Dublin?

Good luck with that locally. It's nearly always the exposed coil that get's damaged on these. Now there is or was a chap in the UK who was rewinding these coils, but the ad is gone now, but usually comes back.

Thanks Wibbs! Will give that lad a shout.

Yeah I'd a feeling I would be out of luck locally, probably just get an offer of a replacement Japanese/Chinese movement. Not what I'd be after at all.

Parts do come up on eBay but tend to be pricey. The Omega effect at play.
