New driver in car with a "learner"

If a novice driver is in a car as the only licensed passenger of a learner can the novice get in trouble? Back when I was learning to drive a shocking amount of people told me that they didn't have a full licence even though they had been driving for years. So, as a novice, if I was a passenger to someone with a learner's permit, could I get in trouble for being in the car?

To be a accompanying driver for a learner you need to have had your full license for two years. So I would think that sitting in the passenger seat as a novice driver with a learner permit holder, simply means that the learner is driving unaccompanied. I'm not aware of any penalty for the passenger.

If I remember correctly a novice driver cannot be the other person for a learner. You have to have your license for 2 years I think. Not sure what kind of trouble you would be in, but I think the learner would be getting 2 points as they would be technically unaccompanied.

Yeah, you can't be a sponsored driver until you are past the novice stage so the learner would be considered unaccompanied. But would the passenger be doing something illegal in their own right by being in the car with the unaccompanied learner.

Who owns the car? If it's not the learner, the person who owns the car can be charged for allowing a learner to drive unaccompanied. Came in with new traffic laws this year.

I wonder have there been any prosecutions for this yet?
