    Hello
need some help guys - not sure what I am about to do is a good idea
Purchased visaton 13/2 30w/50w 8 ohm speakers and put 3 number in ceiling of kitchen/utility (last minute whim while fitting out kitchen!)
More for Radio play but also cranking up some Jimi Hendrix when possible!

i have an old panasonic Sa-AK630 (rms output low channel 75w 5 ohm, high 70 W 5 ohm)(sub woofer 160W (8ohm), photo of the rear attached.
I was planning on connecting the ceiling speakers to the hifi (maybe also with the hifi speakers connected) to the high channel on the hifi unit.

will this work? or will i wreck the hifi ?
the hifi is old but i love it so would rather not break it.

    greatly appreciate your help!

I think you're out of luck - the manual for your unit ( here https://www.manualslib.com/manual/119589/Panasonic-Sc-Ak630.html?page=4#manual) suggests that the high and low speaker connections on your unit are designed for the speakers supplied with it - it also warns about connecting other speakers so if you're attached to the unit (and adverse to blown electrics or fire ) I wouldn't be attaching an array of speakers to it.
