Looking to buy a car. Could use some advice please!

Hi all,

I have 6k to spend on a car.
I usually take the bus to work within Dublin but I would drive in the evenings and would take longer trips during weekends.

What should I be looking for with regards to mileage, fuel type, etc in a car? I would ideally like something 2008 at least.

A PETROL first of all. A diesel will cause you issues with your style of driving.

Would you consider a hybrid such as Prius?

Toyota auris, Ford Focus, VW golf, Honda Civic would all be easy park but still practicable and reasonably easy to park.

mazda 3-2 small engines can be gotten 08-10+ minimal maintenance and also the above examples would be smth to look into.
