Faro flights looking good... but where should we stay

    Hi all

    Any recommendations of where to stay if I book 2 flights to Faro for first week in August???

    I never been to Portugal and so do not know the do' and the Don'ts

    Looking for a week by the pool and easy access from airport

    Would appreciate any recommendations to look at

    If you're looking for a resort, I strongly recommend Albuferia.

    Also, be careful in the Algarve with where you book as some places can be very far outside the resort centers.

    Thanks for that.... is it possible to get to Alburferia by 1 x bus??? How long would it take????
