I have the following Samsung tv:

I live in an apartment in Castkleknock so no way up putting up an outdoor aerial or using a sky dish. Would an indoor aerial be enough for me to get the terrestrial Irish channels ? I'm looking to get rid of my Virgin media tv package.

When I search on Saorview site with my TV model it returns this result.

You could try a cheapo indoor UHF aerial from your local Euro store. Try and place it as near a south facing window as possible. It would give you some idea what's possible without a big outlay. Don't be conned into buying any type of boosted, powered or amplified indoor aerial as they are just a waste of electricity.
