My site failed percolation test. Engineer suggested I get permit to raise site level by two feet with top soil and this would help pass test.. Any views?

Find a site with mains sewer connection or better percolation or listen to the eng your paying for professional advice.

Percolation tests can "fail" for lots of different reasons and if a solution is possible (which isn't always the case) this solution will need to match the reason why the test result proved unsuitable.

If your percolation isint great, You could thank your self in the future for not building there.

I have a friend who passed percolation by skin of his teeth, on a really dry week.

fast forward and its costing him thousands because the lawn has a clay texture and pipes are getting blocked.
