Mini (or Half) Wine Bottles

Small bottles of wine being hard to come by at reasonable prices, I tried my luck with the 'new' LIDL Chilean 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon priced at about 2.50e.
It comes in a 'super mini' 250 ml bottle which is larger than the typical 187 ml mini bottle.

    Verdict...
Soft and fruity, reminds me of a generic 'red' (say Blossom Hill) rather than specifically Cabernet Sauvignon.
    No discernible tannin.
Nothing objectionable, although 'on the nose' I didn't detect anything welcoming either!

This might be improved by a gentle 30 minutes in the fridge before hand, and a few minutes breathing in the glass.

So LIDL wins on quantity, but on price ALDI's Californian Merlot at under 2e is tops, and for taste, for me Tesco is in the lead with:
    - Hardys Australian Stamp Shiraz Cabernet at 2.19e
    - Gallo Californian Cabernet Sauvignon at 2.29e

Please post your recommendations \ bargains \ ones to avoid here - including half bottles :)
