2014 Mercedes S350 Bluetec SE - Import?

    Hi,
    Has anyone here got personal owner experience of the S350 Bluetec? I am thinking of importing one from the UK, one owner, FMBSH, 30K miles. Famous for being the most luxurious and best car etc etc, what's it like to own? Service costs, repairs (if any) etc. I would appreciate an honest review, there are few reviews available online that are not magazine or Mercedes propaganda. I would even appreciate an experienced mechanic's opinion.

    I can't help with ownership experience but , and I may be wrong, but I heard certain or all official mercedes dealers in the UK won't sell to Ireland for export due to the volume of people doing what you intend to do to protect the Irish dealers.

    I presume an independent dealer won't have an issue.

    Know a lad who bought a macked up one in 2 years ago. Loves it doesnt cost him a bob outside of normal wear and tear. 131 AMG spec.
    The nonAMG specs are poor enough no? (Spec wise)

    That's older model in 2013 . I don't like the wheels - very few s class have nice design alloys.
    You have probably read reviews - lifeless steering , unexciting handling and over glitzy dash are - points but don't know about reliability.
