Hi, can someone please advise me.

My father recently got his OAP travel pass with spouse. Himself and my Mom are travelling by train next week using the pass. I have reserved their tickets online and paid the reservation fee. I received an confirmation number.

I assumed that they would just enter the confirmation number at the ticket machine and get their tickets with their seat numbers and job done. My mother however is thinks that in addition they will have to visit the ticket office, donate a kidney and do a song and dance before they get the train.

What exactly will they have to do when they get to the station?

    Thanks😀

Hi, they will have to collect their tickets from the ticket office as the travel pass needs to be verified there.

They must obtain the DSP ticket at the booking office before travel unless the office is closed.

They must collect the reservation either at the booking office or at the ticket machine (only a handful of stations can the booking office issue reserved tickets)

If travelling to Northern Ireland then a kidney donation is required and the cross border warrant form must be completed at the station before approaching the booking office
